We consider the following to be Personal Identifying Information: your name, email address, mailing address, and phone number. For your security, we'll also keep an encrypted record of your login password. We use this information to better serve the user's needs as well as our own legitimate business purposes. We do not sell, give or trade your information with any third party unless to comply with an appropriate law enforcement investigation.

Registration & Examination copies

Certain areas of this site require users to first complete a registration form and to provide personal information. Our site allows users to register when requesting examination copies. We use this contact information for the purpose of contacting the user regarding the examination they requested and to inform them about similar products. Your information is never sold, traded or given to any third party.

Instructors who do not wish to register may skip the registration process when requesting examination copies or contact SDC Publications directly to place their request. Instructors who do not wish to register are asked to provide the same personal information as Instructors who do register. Registration makes subsequent exam copy requests easier. Additionally, Instructors who do not register will not have access to additional features including, but not limited to, access to instructor resources, education pricing information and request history.

Instructor Mailing Lists

Our site permits instructors who have registered and been verified to join our mailing lists. By requesting examination copies from us you will automatically be enrolled in our mailing lists. Periodically, we use these lists to distribute information to members of the lists about areas they have expressed interest in. Your areas of interest can be updated at any time by logging into your account and going to your account's areas of interest page. At any time, an instructor may opt-out of marketing emails by clicking the "unsubscribe" link found on every email. Additionally, a member of the list may opt-out of receiving further mailings by contacting SDC Publications by emailing, , calling 913-262-2664, or through our contact us page. Please allow 14 business days to be removed from the email list. Our mailing lists will not be shared with any other company, organization or individual.

Please keep in mind that opting out of promotional emails will not prevent you from receiving transactional email correspondence. We may still send you transactional messages in order to notify you of important issues, to resolve specific questions or requests made by you via phone, fax, email, or the Web and in response to any activity completed on our site, including but not limited to, changes to your account, examination copy requests, downloads, password recovery, and requests for information.

Here a user must provide contact information (like name and shipping address) and financial information (like credit card number and expiration date).
