Instructors Registration Process
Instructors are not required to register in order to request examination copies, however, instructors who do register are granted access to numerous additional features including:
- Access to instructor resources
- Faster examination copies request
- Request history and tracking
Because of the benefits that come with registering with SDC Publications every instructor must be verified and approved before they are able to access these features. The good news is registration is very simple and does not take long. Below is a description of what to expect after you register.
Awaiting Confirmation
After creating your instructor account your status will be set to awaiting confirmation. You may begin making requests for exam copies, but these requests will only be fulfilled once you have been authenticated. This normally only takes 1 - 2 business days and you will be notified via email once you are approved. In some cases the verification will be instant if you have successfully requested books from us in the past.
Confirmed
Once you have been authenticated your status will be set to confirmed. Any exam copy requests you made will be processed, you will be given additional access to instructor resources, you can review and track your request history, and much more.
Denied
If we fail to verify your identity we may contact you for additional information. Until we are able to confirm your identity your status will be set to denied, you will not have access to any of the instructor resources online and your examination copy requests will not be processed.
Getting Approved Faster!
To speed up the verification process, be sure to use your school email address and your school's mailing address when creating your account. After you register, a confirmation email will be sent to you. You can help speed up our verification process by replying to this email with any of the following: the link to your profile on your school’s website, a copy of your campus ID, a copy of your course syllabus, your teaching certificate or anything else you think will help us to verify that you are an instructor.
If you have successfully requested examination copies from us in the past we ask that you, if possible, use the same information as before. This will decrease the time it takes to get you approved. Once you have been approved you will never need to bother with registering or filling out long request forms again!
