Autodesk has changed the default orientation of fusion from Y-Up to Z-Up. The tutorials in this edition use the Y-Up Orientation. This setting can be adjusted through the Fusion references option to make it easier to follow the tutorials:

1. Click on the account icon at the upper right corner of the Fusion window.

2. Pick the Preferences option.

   

3. Choose Y-Up as the Default Modeling Orientation.

   

4. Click OK to accept the settings.

5. Start a New Design to use the new setting.
