Supporting Schools and Students

In our effort to support schools and students affected by COVID-19, we have partnered with RedShelf to provide all students free access to our textbooks, as eBooks, for the remainder of the current school year.

We have set up two options for students to access these free eBooks. Please read the options below and choose the one that best matches your school.

Colleges and Universities

This option is for students enrolled at a college or university, located in the United States and Canada, with a school issued email address.

To participate in this program please have your students start by visiting the RedShelf support page. From here they can browse the list of qualifying books, create an account and access the free eBooks.

Below are the full program details:

  • Students may have up to seven free eBooks from all participating publishers
  • The program applies to students at non-profit, semester-based schools
  • Access to these eBooks runs through May 25th

High Schools and International Schools

This option is for high schools and schools unable to meet the requirements listed above.

To participate in this program please email the following information:

  • The full title and/or ISBN of the book(s) you wish to use
  • The number of students that need access to the books
  • Your final day of class for the current semester/quarter

Our staff will respond to your email with a list of codes for you to distribute to your students. These codes can be redeemed at RedShelf.com. Students will need to create an account on RedShelf in order to redeem the access code. Once they have redeemed their access code with RedShelf, they will have access to the full book until the date you provide as the last day of class.

Please note that we have received a tremendous response from schools eager to participate. Our team is working as quickly as possible to respond to each request. Please bear with us as it may take us one or two business days to respond to every email.

Examination Copies

Instructors may still request examination copies through our website. However, all exam copy requests will be fulfilled as eBooks until the COVID-19 outbreak has subsided. During the checkout process you may still be asked to provide a shipping address. For the time being, your exam copy requests will be fulfilled as eBooks, regardless of the of the shipping address you select.

We know many people still prefer printed books, and we apologize for this inconvenience. We will return to providing printed exam copies once our local and federal orders says it is safe to do so.

Our team is committed to helping schools, instructors and students during this difficult time. If you have any questions or need help, please reach out to us directly. We are here to help.
