The Panavise is used as a modeling project in the Pro/ENGINEER Tutorial published
by SDC Publications. Some parts are made at the end of each lesson (in addition to Questions
for Review and other Exercises), and assembled using techniques discussed
in the last two lessons. The links below allow users to view each part
and the assembly in a 3D VRML world. This helps to visualize the part geometry.
To view the VRML models, you will need a VRML viewer installed on your
system. A commonly used viewer is Cosmo Player, which is a browser plug-in. Download the COSMO viewer free at http://ca.com/cosmo/
The image below shows all the parts in the Panavise. Below the
image are links to VRML models of the assembled and exploded models. The
table below the illustration has links to bring up VRML models of each individual part
as labeled in the figure.
