Parametric Modeling with Autodesk Inventor

Text by Randy Shih

Separate editions are available for R4, R5, and R8.

Inventor R7:
According to our information, the change from R6 to R7 is based around the ability for R7 to open files from AutoCAD 2004 & Mechanical Desktop R7. Therefore, the SDC Inventor R6 books may be used with Inventor R7. Please note that SDC does not plan to publish an Inventor R7 book.

Inventor Release 6 Software
A 180-day term license for Inventor R6

Parametric Modeling with Autodesk Inventor R6 is available with the Inventor Release 6 Software.  The Inventor R6 software is a 180-day term-of-use license.

When you have your bookstore order copies of this book, it may be ordered either with the Inventor Release 6 software or without the software or the bookstore may order copies of each version.  ISBN's and pricing are shown at the bottom of this page.

Note: This software is available only to college/university bookstores and schools located in the United States. Individual sales to students are not permitted.

description

This book contains a series of ten tutorial style lessons designed to introduce Autodesk Inventor, solid modeling, and parametric modeling. It uses a hands-on, exercise-intensive approach to all the import parametric modeling techniques and concepts. The lessons guide the user from constructing basic shapes to building intelligent solid models and creating multi-view drawings.
