The SDC Core Series is being created
to give teachers a reliable source of inexpensive textbooks for the
most common engineering and engineering technology courses. The SDC
research into this area has revealed that there are only a few
publishers offering textbooks for the most popular engineering and
engineering technology courses. These textbooks generally cost
students between $100 to $130 and contain far more material than can
be used in a two or three credit hour course.
In order to address these problems,
SDC is putting together the Core Series which will feature textbooks
with suggested retail prices of $39.95! In addition, the content is
intended to be appropriate for an introductory level two to three
credit hour course.
