SolidWorks 2005: The Basics was written to assist students, designers, engineers and professionals. SolidWorks 2005: The Basics is a subset of Engineering Design with SolidWorks 2005 and provides a general introduction to the user interface, menus, toolbars and broad concepts and modeling techniques to create parts, assemblies and drawings.
This book uses step-by-step instructions in 60 activities to develop eight parts, four assemblies, three drawings and six document templates. The user formulates the skills to create and modify solid features to model a Flashlight component. Project exercises analyze and examine usage competencies based on the project objectives.
SolidWorks 2005: The Basics is designed to compliment the Online Tutorials contained within SolidWorks. Each section explores the SolidWorks Online User's Guide to build your working knowledge of SolidWorks.
